Several years ago, a good friend of mine was racing a Limited Sportsman at Portland Speedway. Among his sponsors, besides a truly outstanding photographer, was a small sign shop. A couple of years later, the sign shop went out of business and we offered to store the equipment until they found a buyer.

I ended up being the buyer. And, boy has it been a trip. I think that we’ve lettered some pretty good-looking cars since then, from 4 cylinder, figure-8 and bump-to-pass, to Northwest Tour and Winston West. Every car that I’ve done, I learned something and done it a little different because I didn’t know you couldn’t do it that way.

Since I’m frequently told that I’m not charging enough, I think that my prices are competitive and I know for a fact that a racer on a budget doesn’t have to race an ugly car.
